We know hope, with insight and action, can make a difference in our homes, workplaces and communities.
However, less than 1 in 4, or 17% of Americans over 50, are very confident that they can maintain a comfortable lifestyle in their second half, with most concerned about outliving their resources.
Nearly half of people over 50 say arthritis or joint pain limits their usual activities & decreases their mobility.
Over 72% of the population is overweight, with over 42% of adults challenged w/ obesity.
90% of Americans feel we are in a mental health crisis.
70% of Americans who make it to the age of 65 will need some sort of Long-Term Care.
75% of private companies don't have a formal succession plan.
Over 5 million children are now care givers for disabled adults, forgoing personal education and careers.
These may be the facts for our country at large, but they don't have to be the stories for our households.
