That's the question I have for you. Most of us navigate life on our own and we're open to feedback here and there. Yet, human history has shown that we each have a tendency to be our own worst enemy. Add the fact that we can’t run from this enemy—ourselves—and you might just get the idea that life can have some pitfalls we’re not prepared for. Often we don't see this tendency until we get punched in the face, and we're in our 40s, 50s or even our 60s thinking it's too late or too hard to run our race well.
That was my story. By God's grace, Dr. Herman Reece showed up and challenged me in ways I hope everyone gets a chance to experience at some point in their life. He passed away in April of 2024 and was part of the inspiration that sparked this crazy idea of a campaign to encourage 1,000 households to become more curious about life after 40 and finishing well.
Most of us are open to advisors when it comes to our health and taxes. Unfortunately, with caseloads and a silo-based marketplace, there's a good chance your advisors and even your primary care physician haven't helped you at the highest levels available and you still have questions and concerns in some areas. If any of this resonates with you and you're ready for more, let's grab a coffee or jump in below. -Brett
